Health & Safety

  • For safety reasons, we don’t allow pregnant clients to join group classes. Postnatal clients are welcome once they’ve been medically cleared to return to exercise.

We recommend waiting at least 6–12 weeks post-birth and getting the go-ahead from your GP or health professional.

Not sure if you’re ready? We also offer private sessions to help you ease back into Pilates in a more tailored way.

  • Yes. If you have an injury or health condition, let your instructor know before class. We’ll offer safe options where possible, but it’s your responsibility to get medical clearance if needed.

  • Please stay home if you’re feeling unwell or have symptoms of something contagious. It protects everyone’s training space.

Waitlist Policy

  • You’ll see a ‘Join Waitlist’ option. As long as you’ve got enough credits, you can join. Your credits won’t be deducted unless a spot opens and you’re added to the class.

  • You’ll see your waitlist position in your CTRL account. If someone cancels, the next person in line is automatically added to the class. Credits are only taken once you’re booked in.

  • You’ll be skipped and the system will move to the next person in line. No charge is made unless you’re successfully added.

  • The system auto-books waitlisted clients up to 1 hour before class. After that, no more automatic moves, but if a space opens, we can manually book you in if you’ve got credits available.

  • You’ll get an automated email when you move from the waitlist into class. You’ll also get a confirmation when you first join the list, so keep an eye on your inbox, especially if you're near the top.

  • If you’re still on the waitlist, you can remove yourself at any time. If you’ve been added to the class, our cancellation policy kicks in, so cancel at least 12 hours before the start time to keep your credit.

Booking & Cancellations

  • You can book, reschedule or cancel sessions directly through The CTRL app or your online account. Quick, easy and in your hands.

  • You can book up to one month in advance. Sessions open on a rolling basis and fill fast, so if you’ve got credits, lock in your spot early.

  • Just one in-studio class per day per member. This keeps it fair and flexible for everyone.

  • All payments are made through the CTRL app or website. You’ll need to purchase a membership or class pack before booking.

  • If a payment doesn’t go through, your account may be paused until it’s resolved. A small admin fee (up to £10) may apply for repeated failed transactions.

  • Cancel a group class more than 12 hours in advance and the credit goes straight back to your account. Cancel less than 12 hours before, or no-show, and the credit is lost. No extra fees.

For workshops and 1:1 sessions, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations under 24 hours will be charged in full.

Frequent no-shows or late cancels may affect your ability to book future sessions.

Class Packs

  • Yes, each pack comes with its own expiry window, which you’ll see clearly when purchasing. Just make sure to use your credits before they expire.

  • Class packs are for individual use only and can’t be shared or transferred to someone else.

  • Each class pack has its own expiry window, and any unused credits will expire after that. Be sure to check the dates and book in before they run out.

Membership

  • Our memberships offer better value when you're training consistently. They come with a 3-month minimum to keep pricing low, then roll monthly so you stay flexible. Want less commitment? Class packs are pay-as-you-go, no strings, just use your credits before they expire.

  • Yes, you can switch plans once per billing cycle in the CTRL app. Just make the change at least one billing period before your next payment.

  • Memberships can’t be paused or frozen at this time. They’re designed for consistent, ongoing use.

  • Unused credits don’t roll over, so be sure to use them before your month resets.

  • Membership credits are just for you and can’t be shared or transferred.

  • You can cancel anytime with at least one month’s notice. Just head to the CTRL app and follow the steps. Your membership will run until the end of your current term.

  • Yes, if studio rules are repeatedly broken or your conduct affects the experience of others, we may suspend or cancel your membership. No refunds are issued for terminated memberships.

Studio Policies

  • Please aim to arrive 5–10 minutes early. If you’re not in the studio by the scheduled start time, we won’t be able to let you in and the credit will be lost. It’s for your safety and to protect the flow of the class.

  • Yes, they’re mandatory for all classes. Grip socks help with stability on the Reformer and keep things clean for everyone. If you forget yours, don’t worry, we’ve got some available to buy at reception.

  • Absolutely, we love seeing new faces! Just make sure they sign up for their own account before coming in, as we don’t offer drop-ins. It keeps things smooth and safe for everyone.

  • We’re a no-shoes, no-phones kind of space, as it helps keep the energy clear for everyone.

Leave outdoor shoes at reception, and pop on your grip socks before stepping into class (we’ve got some at the desk if you need). Phones? On silent and out of sight as it’s your time to switch off and tune in.

  • We do not currently offer classes or access for anyone under 18.

Getting Started

  • Sign up via our website or app, choose a membership or class pack, and select your session. You’ll get an email confirmation as soon as your spot’s secured.

  • New to Reformer? New to The CTRL? Or just easing back into movement? Start with CTRL Foundations. It’s slower in pace, sharper in focus, and designed to help you build confidence with the equipment. Even if you’re experienced, Foundations is the best way to get a feel for our style before stepping into CTRL Flow or CTRL Dynamic.

  • Think comfort, movement and grip. We recommend fitted activewear like leggings and a top you can move in. Grip socks are essential for all classes, they help with safety and stability. Don’t have a pair? You can grab some at reception.

  • Just the essentials: a water bottle, your grip socks, and maybe a towel if you’re someone who breaks a sweat. No need to bring anything else, we’ve got the rest covered.

  • Aim to arrive 5–10 minutes before class starts. Head to reception, check in, and we’ll get you settled. If it’s your first visit, let us know and we’ll show you around and walk you through the Reformer.

Got an injury or something we should know about? Give your instructor a heads-up before class so we can help you move safely.

Our teachers offer both verbal cues and hands-on guidance to support your session. Prefer to keep it hands-off? No problem, just tell us, no awkwardness.
